Here is a message from Germany for non-German speakers how to pronounce “Mauthe” properly (instead of “mothy” or something like that). There are 2 ways:
1) Please try to say “maute” in the Spanish way. This is very similar to the German name!
2) The “auth” in the middle is pronounced like the (British) English word “out”.
You see, the “h” is silent and NOT part of a lisping sound.
The “e” in the end sounds like an unaccented “a”, NOT “ee”,
The final syllable is NOT stressed.
Bloody hell, the chime is identical to my grandaughter clock, it sings with the voice of a 1000 angels
Son relojes muy bonitos y ademàs el sonido es muy agradeble.
I love the sound!!!
