Excuse me, the German longcase clocks are from Kieninger with “ie”. The first syllable is pronounced “kee”, just like the key
Greetings from Germany – Dirk
I had an Art Deco-cased wall 2-chimes clock which played Ave Maria – the same tune as this one. The Ave Maria chime is lovely.
However, there are also modern longcase clocks from Keininger in Germany which play ‘Ode to Joy’ and another specifically German tune from an opera I think it is. They also play the other Ave Maria tune. They chime on 16 rod gongs and are, as you can appreciate, expensive.
oh What a beautiful clock. I have always wanted one of those clocks ever since I was a little girl but can’t seem to find one anywhere. Thank you for sharing
not very interesting, i will make a video in the future
How do the other quarters sound?
WESTMINSTER
WOW!
super bello
