Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes equals the number of
minutes in one year. But how do we measure this passage of time? We do this by
some smart thinkers 6,000 years ago creating the clock.
The first measurement of time was broken into seasons by farmers. Since
agriculture was the means to survival they were interested in the weather
patterns for planting season, growing season, and harvest season. The exact hour
of the day did not matter so much. Sun up was morning and sun down was evening.
